@old-mo Mo kicked off the fundraising at his rally. And he sent £85 cash up to Lincoln. Money that Funsters paid to be photographed in Mo's old American Car. @SUGGY added a tenner to this total as he overslept and missed the photo opportunity but donated anyway.:D . Thanks, both to Mo and his generous ralliers (y)

The quiz on Thursday at Lincoln was great Fun and the winners; Universally Challenged and runners-up Costa Blanca Blankers kindly donated their winnings, £40 and £20 respectively. Many Thanks.

The Bingo raised £15. The table sale had 8 tables at a £1 rent

The Raffle sold 980 tickets at 50p each

This kickstarts the fund with £668 :D

Just made a donation, which are very happy to do. But have never been charged an additional fee (15%) for making a donation before that I can remember. Is this correct (no problem if it is), or is it because they are waiving their fee?

I’ll look into that. Of course they still charge to process cards. But 15% for that is not on.

I received a message to say that it's taking longer than usual and the usual symbol kept rotating. But I do have a donation reference number, so I'm hoping that means it's gone through OK?

EDIT : it took a while but I have just received an email confirming that it has gone through (y)

There is a drop down box appears... it says they are not taking any money from the donstions and asks you to give something so they can continue to support good causes.... you have the option of giving nothing but i think the default setting is 15%... so unless you change it thats what they will take...
