Whilst I agree dealing with call centres where English is not the first language is problematic calling people spearchuckers etc is unpleasant and unnecessary.
Then , ironically , you display your ignorance of the English language . I presume English is your first language?

As the Dartford crossing is a high value target there are always police cars on the ramp waiting to launch.
Every vehicle is filmed and recorded
I doubt you would even get as far as the tunnel.

Any vehicle reported stolen, no tax or no MoT is stopped.
And I'd presume any vehicle where they were unable to record the number plate would be stopped as well.
(I got pulled there many years ago as the plate on the back of the trailer did not match the vehicle, so they do check)

You should have been driving a tractor, they seem to be a exempt from such petty requirements!!!!

Rarely see a tractor and trailer unit round here where the number plates match and often no number plates at all on either component.

Oliver Harmon "Spearchucker" Jones was a surgeon who appears in the MASH novel by Richard Hooker, the MASH movie and also in the M*A*S*H television series. He was portrayed by Fred Williamson in the movie and by Timothy Brown , who also played the part of corpsman Corporal Judson in the film.
 
Not wanting to add fuel to the fire but I was a "spear chucker" at school - I was a javelin thrower.

I am very pale skinned and of Nordic ancestry but if we go back far enough we are all African anyway.

I was a good spear chucker (javelin) at school long time ago tho you could call a spear chucker a spear chucker back then with out fear of offending.
 
I chucked a javelin at one of the teachers in 1975 Hove Grammar school ,, i was hold 2 javelins and this teacher shouted at me to pass him a javelin i was 20 yards away so I threw it to him , it landed between his legs ,, everyone was speechless , until i said ''sir do you want the other one ???'' he did a sort of monty python ,, NOOOOOOOO! I was the school champion for javelin and i landed exactly where i meant it ,, i was the school terrorist even then .....

Well here we go again after finally getting my 50p refund we were charged wrongly again December 2024 and still awaiting our 50p refund, should be a cheque waiting for us at home,
That said I went to pay for our return crossing this coming Saturday and they want to over charge us again, even though we have an email from them saying they have altered their records of our van to a class 2.
You could not make this up this company is run by a bunch of incompetent arsholes.
I will keep you updated 🤣
 
Well you could not make this up, I have just spoken to Ahmed but he did not really understand why I won’t pay £3 for a £2.50 crossing 🤔
I said would you pay more than the correct fare for you bus fare home tonight he replied of corse not, but I could end up in court and in their t+CS I can not claim any expenses from them.
What a Shower of rubbish🤣
 
While I accept the principle of the thing I don't really understand why you would waste more than 50p of your time, energy and phone bill while shortening your lifespan due to stress over 50p.

Each to their own and I've dug my heels in on principle for less (not had a TV licence for 15 years but won't 'register' with them to let them know that I don't need a licence - why should I?)

For 50p though?

As long as it makes you happy then crack on. (y)

I'm also slightly amused at the assumption that Ahmed takes the bus.

You mid the point I am not stressed at all but find it quite amusing that such a large organisation can not get this right, this is the forth time this has happened 🤣
As making an assumption of Ahmed getting a bus ! I could hardly say the cost of his pint! Could I 🤣

I remember seeing the M.A.S.H film as a teenager and if memory serves, the surgeon was called "Spearchucker" referring to his outstanding college playing of American Football in the Quaterback position (the guy that "chucks" the ball accurately back up the field after all the farting about, bending over and shouting numbers):giggle:
