The van has an alarm and tracker but I think thats something that Comfort insist on for all customers.

Only over £100k you need both.

They insisted on both for me but maybe because I was keeping it away from home?

I remember when I set it up they were on Google maps whilst I was on the phone with them asking security questions CCTV,Locked Gates etc.....

Comfort never asked me for tracker even when it was brand new. £60K new but probably worth more since. Already had an alarm so no idea if that was a stipulation or not.

I’m with Comfort just reinsured @ 85 years 30 others refused on age alone.Getting mad no accidents or claims for dont know how long ,it’s crazy lots cutting lnsurnce at 75years of age

It was a lesson learned.
Because my wife is 75 this year if pushed up the premium by almost £300.
Now that I've taken her off the policy it's down to around £600 - only £25 more than last year.

My biggest worry now is how much will cost next year when I'm 75
