We’re not encouraging grey tank dribbling this year, so it shouldn’t get like that!

Here at Chester and my fridge has stopped working properly!!! Light is on, gas lights ok, ehu connected and working, fridge chilled down on 12v when driving here but temp gets no lower than 13 deg inside fridge. Anybody got an idea what is wrong? Thermostat? Van is a Hymer 680 A class Year 2000 and fridge is an Electrolux RM 6401

We have checked with the organisers. It is fine to put grey waste in the black waste container. It is being emptied daily.

Have you tried turning the thermostat up (less cold) a little?

If your fridge is on full try turning it down a couple of notches. In warm weather, there is a sweet spot with a lot of fridges whereby the coldest setting might not be the coldest setting on the dial. A warmer setting might be colder

Yes I have had a fiddle with the settings but can’t find a position which improves the cooling. Previously we had stuff freezing in the lower sections but now even freezer box is only reaching 7 deg. Going to buy some freezer blocks in town and hope somebody here can freeze them

Did you try the big supermarkets? They normally have them with the seasonal stuff ie picnic items. If you turn left out of the racecourse you will come to Chester RetailbPark, TESCO, Aldi, Asda are all there.
