SV Tech need to update their plate X250 stopped production in 2014/2015.

That was their second attempt after sending totally wrong plate, dealer paid for upgrade I wouldn't have used SV Tech.

Just looking through the paperwork didn't realise AL-KO prepare the F40 Fiat chassis for Carthago

I dont think so. Only different outputs on a 2.3lt.

X290 came out late 2014 for the 2015 model year.
On my X290 Fiat on their Certificate of Conformity list it as an250 as the 290 was only minor upgrades.

The dash was slightly different on the X290 and the speedo dial. Also the DPF is under the body on the RHS roughly along the side of where a driver's door would be on a van, the X290 it's tucked up behind the engine.

I just happen to have a couple of dials around.

X250 on the left, X290 on the right.

My Hymer was built in late 2014 to the 2015 spec. It has the 3.0l engine and is recorded as an X290

I might be missing something here but there is no stage 3 Carthago plate on my Carthago, just the original Fiat and alko and of course the new updated plate.

Our old van was 5t, oh what luxury!
Truth be told, with nothing in here, I’d be genuinely surprised if we got in under 3.5t.

Truth be told , many on here are tech savvy but as successful as MF is it only reaches a minority of Motorhome owners, l reckon from my observations that the majority of Motorhomes are overloaded and in so many cases it’s obvious.
As an aside , how rarely are people pulled up and checked out ,and if you have a modern vehicle with great braking and suspension it does seem to cope quite well in fact very well.
Not Good,Not Legal,Not encouraged,but it goes on and many are totally unaware what Payload means.

The two of us weigh in at 120 kg and we are both overweight a bit.

A Bit? Come on,with all them Lunches,Dinners,Full Bottles of Wine at every meal along with Treats on your Strolabouts ( notice l didn’t say walk or run) we all know your Payload (Belly) is on the limit.

Me overweight at 76kg her overweight at 45kg.

Just had our Carthago uprated from 4250 to 4600kg with no additional mods required. Emailed the details and form to Van Weight Engineering on Tuesday and got the certificate and details back on Thursday. New vin plate arriving this week! Great service and much cheaper than you know who.
