For anyone who fancies a bacon butty :inlove: over the weekend the Sports Park cafe will be the place to go & money raised goes back into the local community: "The Pavilion Café will be serving food throughout the festival, with hot food available at these times: Breakfast Saturday and Sunday 8:30am to 11am, Late Night Festival Club food Friday and Saturday 11pm - late. Lighter bites will be available at all times when open."
There will be at least one bar open too :drinks:

Plenty of yummy food available at the festival too:
"From Friday lunchtime to Sunday night you will be able to sample excellent food on the Kinecroft, near the Beer Festival... dine out beneath the sun and stars...
  • La Grand Bouffe - gourmet French cooking, winner of the "Best Stall" prize at Glastonbury 2003. They combine the excitement of a 'live' food environment with the charm of a French market, building their kitchen of giant pans from which their French regional specialities are served directly to the customer
  • Philippine Village who cook the finest masala dhosa, satay, fish sambar, rice, noodles and many other Philippine treats
  • NL Catering and Event Management - Quality fast food - burgers, chips, hot dogs bacon and egg rolls.
  • Shepherd's Ice Cream - Martin and Juliet have been making ice cream for over ten years based on a small Herefordshire farm on the edge of the Black Mountains, lovely stuff! Also serving fresh espresso coffee. Main stall in the Food Area plus a traditional tricycle in the Childrens BunkFest area.
  • Santa Fe Catering - Mexican food home-made from authentic recipes by an American-trained chef. Burritos, nachos, chilli and Texan barbeque. Vegetarians, vegans and meat-lovers are all catered for.
  • Pan.De.Mania - delicious freshly made wood fired pizzas using only fresh ingredients.
  • DeliKate - quality home made fresh produce - freshly baked baguettes, panini made to order, salads or soup, home made cakes, confectionery and very good coffee from a proper Italian lever action machine.
  • Gourdans Steak Frites - New to BunkFest this year this Oxford based business will serve gourmet street food specialising in quality steak and chips with side dishes from their vintage Renault van.
  • The Beech Hut - New to BunkFest this year the Beech Hut will be located at the Main Stage end of the Kinecroft serving chargrilled street food including vegetarian options.
  • La Cocina Espanola - fresh Spanish dishes cooked in huge Paella pans.
  • The Sausage Fest - A family business since 2012 that has grown year on year and appeared at many UK festivals with their handmade sausages.
  • Monkey Puzzle Coffee - offer the highest quality espresso coffee, bought to you in their mobile coffee van and new this year they are offering Expresso Martinis."
Selection of 30 real ales too...

Good to see that the free shuttle bus to & from the camping runs until quite late at night from Friday - will save our legs if worn out after a long day:

We will be walking on the Friday morning into Wallingford (15-20 mins) to explore the town before it gets busy & on Google Maps https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place...efc49b89c12cc3a3!8m2!3d51.598072!4d-1.1427511 looks like there are various routes including a footpath out of the back of the Sports Park so we don't have to walk on the path alongside the main road unless preferred. Will explore further once there.

Once the festival is finished for the night the party continues at the Sports Park :party2::
"Late Night Club
The Late Night Club is held at the Wallingford Sports Park on Friday and Saturday night from 10:30pm till late.

Bring your instruments and join the stars of the festival for some great live music, real ales and fun. Hot food available for a limited time after the club starts.

The perfect place to unwind after a hard day's BunkFesting!"

BunkFest haven't got around to posting the camping booking link on Facebook yet as they have been working on the website updating it (still in progress) with this years details Link Removed so still availability on Site B (y) Please let us know if you do book - link here https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/bunkfest-2017-tickets-16833558627. Please note that dogs are not allowed at this official festival camping area.

With entertainment, food & drink available day & night at the festival & the Sports Park, a great camping area with use of the Parks recently refurbished toilets & showers, the market town of Wallingford to explore just a short walk or free shuttle bus ride away plus the company of fellow Funsters & other festival goers it should be a good meet :hi5:

Still spaces for camping as BunkFest haven't released the line-up yet but sure to be good going by reviews of previous years festivals.

"The Roving Crows push the boundaries of the Celtic Folk genre and play with genuine passion, energy and soul – a must see live act. A vibrant mix of Celtic-inspired fiddle alongside original and intelligent lyrics backed by pounding, tribal and electronica infused dance grooves; the band comprises fiddle, electric and acoustic guitar, electric 5 and 6 string bass, pumping bongo percussion rhythms and vocals. As well as almost constant national touring, the band has released 2 albums and 2 EPs since their launch in 2009. The most recent album ‘Deliberate Distractions’ received 4* reviews in the Financial Times and R2 Magazine amongst many more. They are set to release their upcoming album ‘Bury Me Naked’ at the Gloucester Guildhall in April 2017 with full PR support from Jane Brace. "Great party music...I love that band" Paul O'Grady, BBC “Really individual Celtic folk rock group” Mike Harding, BBC “The next folk super group in waiting”, Nancy Dunham, folking.com"

They were at BunkFest in 2015

"Sam Green & The Midnight Heist are a band from the southwest of England who play swamp infested Blues, Folk, Roots Rock music. This high energy 4 piece whip up a storm with stompin’ beats, dog house bass and growlin’ slide guitars. Throw in wailin’ harmonicas and 4 howlin’ voices and you have yourself a modern day juke joint sound; guaranteed to bring any old house down"
