Seems that the only way to get people to do the think advised by experts is to make it obligatory.
Too many people in this country know better than the scientists, solely on the basis of ludicrous Faceberk or Tiktwat sourced reasons. Stuff like "My choice". "I know best". "Big Brother" etc. Why can't people accept that times have changed?
Wait until HPAI A(H5N1) or H7N9 mutates to become highly pathogenic (already being seen in Asia). With mortality rates of 50% and 40% respectively, you'll be wearing two FFP3 masks at a time. Unless, of course, Instacrap say that it isn't as bad as the scientist are claiming.

Just boarded Mont St Michel for return journey to the UK , no mention by anyone of having to wear a mask. We all have and are entitled to our own views on wearing them.
Some people on here are just not worth helping !!!!!!....... let the b******s die
After 20 minutes of us being on the ferry they have announced they are to be worn in public areas but I don’t think they will enforce it as we haven’t been told in advance that they should be worn.

We crossed over the Channel on Tuesday night on the Mont St Michele. All the crew and passengers were wearing face masks. Over the last 3 weeks leading up to the sailing I had 5 emails from BF with updates on the sailing, Covid management and that they were requesting passengers to wear face masks in public areas.

(A surprising number of Americans). Or that the vaccines affect your DNA and can turn you into a houseplant? (several conspiracy forums, mostly flat earthers and creationists).

What ever you wear as a face mask should be doused regularly in 96° alcohol. Kills everything.

I think a lot of people misunderstand the reason for face coverings, a little bit like HS2, but that is a different subject. Face masks/coverings are to stop the wearer from spreading germs/viral load, not to filter the air the stop the germs/viral load. I went to Bricolage today to see 2 people coming out, who turn3d out to be Brits, wearing the blue paper face masks. Unless they had Covid the masks were utterly useless. But you cannot argue against people's emotions. If they feel happy doing that fine, but it is pointless.
