@Jim, on my ipad there are a series of small boxes where the icons should be. I can see them clearly on my desktop mac.

On my ipad at the bottom of the page, after the word 'share' there are a series of boxes. Likewise, above the message box where there should be icons for bold, italics, underline, indent, etc, etc there are also a series of boxes.

It's not a case of contrast, it's that they are not there at all - just squares/boxes where they should be.

Try clearing your browser cache. Settings/Safari/Clear History and Website Data. see if that helps
 
Maybe a bit hasty in my post the other day Jim, it's not that bad for basic functions. Maybe a bit more explanation of the like icons... No idea what the second and forth are meant to be.

If you hover over them it tells you but if you are using a machine that does not hover, you likely have to guess.

@Jim I’ve cleared browsing history, etc as suggested. Still have boxes instead of icons I’m afraid.

I changed mine using an i pad
got me wavy hand back cause it fits me square window/round window

Jim,
If you do do colour changes, could you avoid red type on a blue background or Vicky verky, blue on red.
Approximately 10% of males have colour vision problems in the red/green/brown spectrum or shades thereof.
I’m one of them. Any more out there?
 
"Change Width" keeps reverting to narrow on each new session. Can I make it stay like that anyone?

Also a heavier font and maybe a softening of the background would be nice - although that may affect those using phones/small screens. On my big screen PC it's a bit tiring on the eyes.

Hi Jim I like the new forum, more modern looking and much clearer.
When are you going to get user profiles restored? Iam getting lots of non-motorhoming posts that I didn't get in the past. From my point of view the lack this filter makes Fun less attractive.

Hi @Jim. Could we have the quoted text in a different colour please? Like it used to be. Makes the page look less busy and easier to pick out which is a response and which is a quote. IMHO

@Jim I'm using Android 7.1.1 on a small screen and can't seem to access the italic button or any of the editing tools in that group. I've tried it by selecting text first and with no text selected. They are all greyed out except the settings button which doesn't seem to do anything. Not critical, I doubt most folk even notice my italics!
