They are all greyed out except the settings button which doesn't seem to do anything. Not critical, I doubt most folk even notice my italics!

What’s the difference between what’s new and latest, is it new threads and latest comments on all threads and have I just answered my own questions so am I very intelligent or just plain stupid and should I go now?:unsure:

This is a bit in italics and this bold.

@Jim Yes it's working now but I'm sure it didn't earlier. :) When not selected it is now orange.

Then when I click on it it goes black and the editing buttons are active.

Not sure why they aren't active all the time though. :)

Using Android 9 on a OnePlus phone and the italic etc works, although you can't tell if it's active or not until you type. If I hit the cog, it goes orange, the formatting buttons are greyed out, but it shows bbcode (I think it's called) in the reply box.

Not a fan of change but I like it and few things are easier. Think in a week or so it will be much better and the old one long forgotten.
 
@Jim has the 'go to first unread' item in a thread disappeared? (windows 10)?
there a lot of empty screen space - again windows 10
think i noticed someone say it all looks a bit stark in one of the posts. maybe its the contrast between white and the colours you have chosen. just have to get used to it.

Love the new look FUN site. Well done @Jim and team - all seemed to go well given the complexity of the site update. (y)(y)
 
You have the patience of a saint, Jim!

The soft grey colour you’ve now got for quotes is much gentler on the eye than the bright white. About 10% of the population have dyslexia to some degree and a pastel background can really help ?.
 
Has the header bar now gone to white writing on black back ground?

Touch each one and the description comes up, touch again and it disappears.

Emoji's are not easy on lap top though, had got used to using keyboard options on phone, nice and easy there, when I click on smiley icon on my laptop they appear but it gets placed on a new line, if I move the cursor the emojis close :unsure:

Went off to a MCC rally in Devon and didn't look at Fun for a few days, panicked when I tried to get my daily Fun fix, had to register again, more panic, got on didn't recognise site, more panic, tried again today, relax and breathe, phew!!!! Like the changes Jim. Works fine on my phone (android), ta muchly.
