Mary Millington who owned a sex shop in Soho in the 1970's often parked her large pink Rolls Royce in Wardour Street.

It's number plate was appropriately PEN15.
Interesting, that was given as an example of one DVLA wouldn't ever issue.

A few years ago saw a motor scooter in Portsmouth. Reg. B15 HRN. Turned out it belonged to a Royal Navy Chaplain! (Bish RN as "The Bish" is RN slang for Chaplain.
On a personal note I was hoping to acquire CHA 5E as my surname is Chase.

My registration number has become an issue !!!!
I had this number on my Winnebago Journey for many years and transferred it to the Winnebago ERA when I downsized . We did pick up some flack in France last year BEFORE Trump was re-elected. I intend to remove it before the season begins this year and replace it with something less provocative. What do others think?

Put it on retention for 4 years?

Years ago local to me was a Ford Consul 2.5 mk3 with PEN1S on it. It was on it for about 5yrs but disappeared off it, I don’t know if it was revoked or sold on.

the plate I would have liked years ago was TON 1S..

had not long bought my own car and had no pennies left unless I sold the car which would have defeated the object..
(no prizes for guessing my name)

I know some people hate them but in my mind I have just seen the best . Followed a kontiki of the ferry at Santander and its plate read
A Big Kon (ab 16 kon )
Well it tickled me ,😂
A friend of mine who coverted his own Mercedes Van has the registration plate DI YMH. DIY MH.
Another old friend had R11, His name was Reginald Irons, sadly passed away now.

Just change your name by deed poll to whatever number and letters on the vehicle, its cheaper and legal! MH74CHR if you wish!

Just been oug driving and saw a cracking reg for this area (Stockport).

V14 DCT

And Stockport's most famous landmark?

The Railway Viaduct, of course!

Pretty nondescript car it was on though.

There are several plates up here with ##*0BAN but the best I have seen was T1REE, though I think the wee island came first.
