I never understood the point of a personalised registration that merely matches the badge model of the car it's on.

I used to see WAM 911 in Camden. On a Porsche 911. Unless the owner happens to be George Michael or Andrew Ridgely, why?

Personally those are the best ones .

I would never ever own a plate with my name on it .

Only related to the car ...or a joke .

A mate had Gte 16v on his 1990 astra gte 16v

My parents nearly bought me a Tam plate once I'm so glad they asked me first as I'd never have put it on a car.

When I was working for Gas Care we had several plates. For a long time I had
GA55 ACE, but after getting a new van I ended up with GA55 BAG

Many years ago, I went through a 'horsey' town, Ascott, Epsom, not really sure, there were 2 Jag XJS's parked nose to nose, one had F1 LLY and the other, for the life me I can't remember, but it was just as apt.
