Benidorm or bust

There’s a good camperstop behind Gerona airport with all services, has a nice shop/restaurant too.

Train booked for Thursday not sure of routes when I leave France or were to stop overnight.
May stop at Dax before crossing boarder.
Need to do 5 hours drives.
Don't even know we're to stop in Benidorm.
Normally go to Portugal.

Is Orange Grove nice? I ask this as the pictures that keep appearing on facebook may it look like a council run car park!

Not wishing to offend anyone but I am genuinely interested.

Yeah it's like a gravel aire, the pool is tiny and it's in the middle of nowhere. Had a ride up on my pushbike once. It's a few km inland.

Good night entertainment tonight

Just be aware that the internal comunidad borders in Spain are shut. You may have difficulty (as in police will stop and fine you) moving between the various autonomous communities. We are currently living in Valencia and can't travel to Murcia (10 miles away) or Catalonia. So be aware that these restrictions have been recently extended to 15 January. Travel back to your home country is one of a very few exceptions.

Are you no longer allowed to travel to pre booked accommodation?

£3000 fine EACH if caught.

Belgium and Holland banning UK flights for now.
Eurostar has stopped trains to Belgium for 24 hours until they can get clarification.
France Germany and Italy are thinking about a ban.

The writing is on the wall for a while I guess .

Yes, you can travel to pre booked accommodation. But you are not allowed to travel across a community boundary. So go to benidorm by all means but arrive by air at Alicante Airport or by sea to Valencia. You can't drive from the French border.

I have it on good authority that transiting France then through Spain to the Valencian region went without any issues, road blocks, fines or other dramatics. And, I would like to add that my source is not hearsay and I trust the info 100%

Which bits of news do you mean?

Which bits of news do you mean?

the ones saying everyone is getting fined and being turned round in Spain

it really is all BS afaik and not happening hence there’d be no posts saying “we have just arrived” or “we have just moved from here to there”

So where do folk get all this other negative news from, or is it all what they “think” is happening

Agree 100%. My mate has told me that he was overtaken by the guardia civil between Somport and Zarragossa today and they just lifted their hand and acknowledged him. 2 motor cycle plods came into the garage down near Teruel and didnt even look at him. Hes not seen any activity whatsoever but he is waiting by his hab door for a knock from the GC ready to hand him a €6000 fine......allegedly
