Benidorm or bust

Excuse me for being geographically inaccurate, but you knew where I was talking about didnt you? But you taking the time to google map it has stopped me from getting lost...thank you!

Also, a long walk to you might not be a long walk to me or Vice versa, so again, its subjective to the walkers ability....no?
Yes I totally agree with you.
That is why I correctly estimated the time it took to walk to Benidorm for the benefit of members on here.

the Arena Blanca IS A BIT FURTHER A WAY FROM THE BEACH BUT ONLY COST 15 EURO A NIGHT THAY HAVE HEATED POOLE ONSITE BAR AND NICE SIZE PITCHES
Is that price just for the odd night or the discounted price for +15/30 days.

Am very jealous !!!! If you are looking for a stop on the way down the coast, a cracking site is L'Ampolla.

Enjoy
The site in l,'Ampolla is great.....as long as the bloody disco next door is not on🎧🎧

Pedro Sanchez has just adressed the nation

The Government decrees the state of alarm to impose a curfew from 23 to 6 hours and each community may prohibit travel between regions

From a Spanish Newspaper:

The Spanish government has declared a new state of alarm, which comes into effect immediately. The cabinet met on Sunday morning to approve a measure that will be more limited in its scope than the state of alarm that was declared in March and then lifted in June.

The new measure is not a return to the conditions of confinement (lockdown) that applied in March. But confinement is a feature in that a nighttime curfew will be applied, except in the Canary Islands, where epidemiological data are more positive than elsewhere in the country. A majority of Spain's regions (seventeen plus the two north African autonomous cities) had asked for the legal means to be able to implement such a curfew ahead of Sunday's cabinet meeting.

As well as the curfew, the decree will restrict mobility in that movement between regions will be prohibited except for justifiable reasons. This will be subject to regional decisions; there can be complete closure of regional borders or partial.

The decree passed on Sunday will be in force for fifteen days and will then have to get Congress backing in order that the state of alarm can run until May 9 (longer than was previously reported). The government is seeking to avoid the situation that existed in the spring when it had to return to Congress every fortnight and gain approval for extensions to the previous state of alarm. In this regard, the government wants to follow the lead of France and Italy, where similar mechanisms apply for several months at a time. The conditions of the state of alarm will, however, be reviewed by the government every fortnight.

Have a safe trip, enjoy yourselves. We are getting quite a bit of rain at the moment, nice days in between. Hope you found/find some good camping spots.

Try "The Orange Grove" Albir. Prices are very good and it's not a long walk into Beni either. We love Albir.
Trouble with Albir there is hardly anything open at night other than Chinese Retaurants in the winter.Nice in the day time though.BUSBY.

Going through the different regions.
Now will follow the coast down to Benicasim then onto Benidorm.
Hope you are both keeping well also.

On the BBC home opage now.

Spain has declared a national state of emergency and imposed a night-time curfew in an effort to help control a new spike in Covid-19 infections.
Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez said the curfew, between the hours of 23:00 and 06:00, would come into force on Sunday.
Under the emergency measures, local authorities can also ban travel between regions, Mr Sánchez said.
He said he would ask parliament to extend the new rules, initially in force for 15 days, to six months.
