Can you just confirm the arrival time please? On here you quote 3:00pm, but when confirming a place with MHF it allows you to select 1:00pm ... which is correct?

Confirmation.

Time of Arrival for this rally is not before 3pm. Camperfest have said any one arriving before then will be turned away until 3 pm.

@Techno 100 good link for information, Chester have been very accommodating with Fun allowing us to arrive at 3 instead of 4pm. and also given us the option of staying over until Tuesday morning 11am though without services. Just a repost of Jims for anyone who missed it.

Wish we could go but have other plans have a great time and mind how you go the entrance was very narrow with the kiosk sited in the gateway, much plastic on the floor from various bumps last time I went .Its a very good show and Im sure you will all enjoy the camperfest and Chester.

What goes on?
Do you have to attend the functions or can you do as you please?
Are kids welcome or is it a way of getting away from them?
Chester's relatively close to us but with a 'lively' 20month toddler, we wouldn't want to be a nuisance with the inevitable tantrums (and that's just the missus!)

Chester is a wonderful place to walk, you can go on the river, you can buy/eat/watch exotic foods.

Do you have to attend the functions or can you do as you please?

Do whatever you want.

Are kids welcome or is it a way of getting away from them?

Much better than yapping dogs.

We are newbies to motorhoming after years of caravanning during which we never once attended a rally. Since swapping in September we have attended two, both with Fun, and it's been awesome! Some meets are great for kids, some not so, but the information given will make it very clear which are which! If you look at the Camperfest info you'll see there are masses of activities for kids, even wee ones like yours. Everyone is really friendly and there is never any pressure to do anything you don't want to do. Just dip in and out as you like. Come along and give us a go!

Hi yes it's great lots to do on the doorstep so to speak, have a look on rally chat next to scheduled rally's, I have 3 threads there I'll bump them up for you with all the information you will want, and you will be very welcome.
