Rally [Apr 2, 2015] Chester Food Festival 2015 (Chester)

We booked with NO power, as we can last a few days on the 110 Battery, but will it last 4 Days (Thursday to Monday) never tried that long.
With compressor fridge, lights & Propex Heater fan, I am thinking not.

Will I need a spare Battery?
or anywhere to charge the Battery, and how long will that take?

We're down to one 110 battery now till I decide what to do about solar etc, we're quite frugal on 12 volt so hope ours lasts too. We used to do a week in our caravan on one 110 ah but didn't have blown air or tv.

Hopefully it won't be as cold this year.

I hope not - my wife has never heard of a jumper - too handy with that central heating button!

Camperfest organisers did.
Official entry time is 4 p.m. We have been given an hours head start. This information is direct from JIM following an email from Camperfest. It is detailed further back in the thread.

Camperfest are not the cleverest of organisers IMHO they could have put this clearly in BOLD type next to the arrival day on your booking ticket.

Hi Dave & Polly, the time is 3 o'clock the earliest, but if you want to get in the area earlier go to the Greyhound Park on Sealand Road First park up there by PC world it's easier parking there, and two minutes from the Race Course, there's a big Asda for stocking up there and a few shops to kill time in.

For those that haven't been to Chester services recently the MH parking is now where the lorries go - when you exit the roundabout it's the first left and around the back.

I would make for the greyhound park, and park up by PC world & costa, plenty of parking there without charge unlike the rest of the park where there is a 3 hour limit, and 2 minutes from Race Course, a lot more to do.

Don't be stuck, always let us know if your getting stuck and we would try and sort something out for you.

As Andy says they need to get in touch with Camperfest first thing there may be a few places left, if they can book in with them let us know and as long as they are paid up funsters they can camp with us. Hope they can get on.

It would be great if they can still book with Camperfest, however, they need to be subscribers to FUN, rather than members, due to the rules regarding insurance.
