Anyone driving to Spain in January?

We are travelling by tunnel on the 7th January heading for Spain then Portugal. Still struggling with documents, tests etc as booked through Motorhome and Caravan Club rather than direct through Eurotunnel. Been sent a password and link to get attestation etc but do they accept a digital one or must it be printed.?

Looks like Spain is going to get mighty busy in the New Year, its Rammed now, with other nationalities, so will it be more rammed, rammed more or Rama-lana-ding-dong...some crazy lyric from years gone by...(The Edsels 1961) other covers available. I've gone into hiding.....  (y) :xThumb::xThumb::xThumb::xThumb::xThumb:
hi jumar. one of bills mates has just rung him he is landing at Santander 17th dec but was worried how the covid is if they might be a national shutdown as we was told to go home in 2019 . he could change his crossing if need be thanks . val

hi mikeco . just managed to get our 6 months checkup at rasen dentist before we go . we find the opposite going abroad from having to leave the campsite in Spain 2019 march ( covid ) to 2 other trips to France both 2 months touring. we found you are better off there than Tesco's here but we are not talking about places like Benidorm just pick your safe places to visit & stay sensible that's all you need to do val
you cant get better social distancing than this so even at our age we feel safe . val

Tad different this year...
some lessons learnt from first lockdown, together with huge numbers double jabbed making life for Citizens/Residents/Visitors more manageable.
Providing the basics are followed we should get through this winter....
Local restrictions are in place...but a national lockdown hasn't been mentioned, to my knowledge...👍🇪🇦

Don't do any documents yet because some expire and others which claim to be saved and can be completed later dont work when you try to complete. We went through this in sept on a trip to spain by ferry, better to wait until a couple of days before needing to use them.
You do need to ensure you have a LFT test booked for the day before you are getting on the tunnel but dont book too early in case the entry requirements for France change in the meantime.
We have the tunnel booked for the Sat ( late evening ) 8th Jan and will be heading for Cadiz to catch the ferry to Tenerife as part of the Canaries tour we are joining.
We have so far obtained our GHIC cards as our EHIC's run out in March ( at which time we will be on Gran Canaria ).

We’re considering driving over to Spain through France in mid January to do our allotted 12 weeks in Portugal and Spain.
-Anyone else planning on doing this?
Any thoughts?
Bit too early in the year for us although we have done it in the past..We like the better weather and longer daylight hours..but it will be better than UK.BUSBY.

We have booked Brittany Ferries on the 2 Jan for a month in or near Benidorm, never been for this amount of time or this time of year before. Can’t wait!
