Well I tracked the said miser Coastal Cruiser. down tonight and he wasn’t really a miser at all, he invited us into the Gin Palace for a cup of tea (very nice btw) and gave me and Mrs Westy a whole tunnocks to share damn I didn’t check the date
Seriously, nice to put a face to a name

Nice to meet you and Mrs Westy last night and glad you survived the 2 rabid Jack Russells although they had had there attack quota on Chinese tourists and were worn out
I am now going into Stealth mode now as this trip has been very traumatic what with cups of tea and biscuits being given out

Arrived at the Bergues aire as fancied a change from Gravelines was going to go a bit further into Belgium but crap drive to the tunnel so I’ve had enough

Will explore the town in the morning but no doubt being France on a Monday there won’t be anything open
Only English van here So no chance of the van being ransacked for food

Yeah, what a fabulous journey. M25 shut @ Leatherhead & M26 shut.
Would have been a lovely drive through the leafy parts of Surrey, but it’s pitch black at 3am

3 1/4 hrs from Southampton! Fabulous
