Would have been a lovely drive through the leafy parts of Surrey, but it’s pitch black at 3am

3 1/4 hrs from Southampton! Fabulous

bet you are glad someone suggested leaving a bit earlier

you would have thought that time of the morning it would have been ok even with the diversion

We live in Lancing via M25 It's 21 miles further but 25 min quicker but if the M25 grinds to hault you are stuffed.

To be fair I don’t think that was to bad, on a good run through I’m about 2-15 you are about 30min further on from me so 2-45.
Roadworks added 30min and if you go along the coast road it says on maps another 25min
And there was always a chance of getting your van stolen or shot at driving past Worthing and Brighton
