Well he pulled in yesterday, squeezed in the last spot of the boondocks it was rammed (they had just craned an old caravan that had been there years in that space) and this morning everybody had/was leaving, coincidence??? Surely not

He will be happy tomorrow as I have bagged him a prime lake side spot next to me

Some strange Spanish family was in this pitch and when I came down to view the pith I had blagged they had stuff everywhere and were sitting in the front seat with headlights on and the kids on their laps
After I set up he moved back one pitch and left all his crap on the other pitch but parked at an angle so nobody can get to the pitch behind him!!

And here lies the difference between northerners & southerners Mark.
You bagged a lovely spot for us, while WESTY66 was happy to see us off to, what he thought was the cheap seats.
However, the “cheap seats” turned out to be a lovely cul de sac away from the riffraff, surrounded by quality vans and the more discerning camper.

Anyways just been speaking to the German chap who owns the Phoenix and he is saying it’s rubbish
He’s had it 2 years and over 30 problems and the back up is not very good taking ages to fix.
Will stick with my cheaper pile of rubbish,

Don’t know about that, aluminium sides are a nightmare, have a dink and scratch on my garage door that definitely wasn’t there when I arrived in Luxembourg and noticed it on our next stop

This is my concern after having a grp Frankia for 12 years, hopefully the Carthago won’t get dull like it did.

This is my concern after having a grp Frankia for 12 years, hopefully the Carthago won’t get dull like it did.

I think the paint holds up if regularly cleaned and waxed, it’s just the body panel construction that is so fragile and seeing as I am very OCD with my stuff any little scratch annoys me
