Ours is a 2015 model, my husband thinks that 14.6 should not kill the unit. I think it is possible that I tried to start the engine before allowing sufficient time for the dashboard lights to go out and this could have done it as it was in the middle of a drive when we had stopped at a supermarket.I've just checked my (2021 model with stop/start), and the charge voltage seems to peak at 14.9v.

Where does the timer go & what does it look like ?They aren't worth the faff and cost.
When ours fails I'll be fixing ours with one of these 10p devices and a timer

I don't think think there are any problems with later vans.I've just checked my (2021 model with stop/start), and the charge voltage seems to peak at 14.9v.
Probably a good idea of you have an A class like this, where the occupants appear to be the filling for the dashboard & Air bag/seat sandwichI’m also interested in the 10p device and timer.
I’ve got a problem with my air bag warning light at the moment, it may save me a trip to my local garage.
Just look on ebay for "airbag LED timer" there are little modules for sale that will sort the MOT problem for about a fiver.I’m also interested in the 10p device and timer.

No it is disarmed if the ecu see a circuit problem.Do we know if the airbag still works with the light problem? If not why are people faffing about with led and timers, surley the saftey of driver and passenger is paramount.
There is no way to repair the ecu as far as I can tell.Has anybody tried to resolve the airbag light problem using Multiecuscn?
One might expect the light to come on in red for danger do not drive, rather than orange for warning. No it is disarmed if the ecu see a circuit problem.
When mine went it was orange both on passenger airbag and drivers airbag. Also the menu showed passenger bag dissarmed. One might expect the light to come on in red for danger do not drive, rather than orange for warning.
At least with a reader you can tell, I managed to reset mine with an occasional drivers seatbelt pretensioner fault for 18 months before it fully died with the code I posted. The drivers pretensioner fault may be real, but at least with a new unit I can be more certain. There is no way to repair the ecu as far as I can tell.
You can reset it but if its dead then it has to come out as far as I know.
But there are a few members who are more proficient with Multiecuscan than I.

But you are correct some lights go red when total failure or major fault
I have an orange light, but according to Crashdata my ECU is giving a code that it is dead & no longer operational. One might expect the light to come on in red for danger do not drive, rather than orange for warning.
Yes, I think we all have had an orange light when it fails, however I did continue to drive it whist waiting for repair because the light was orange.I have an orange light, but according to Crashdata my ECU is giving a code that it is dead & no longer operational.
Mine has been ok since, about 14 months now.how long do they last when they come back from crash data after being reset ?
Odometer flashing is usually a canbus fault which can be a communication issue with the ecuMorning, my 2019 Citroen Wildax was at the garage yesterday they say it needs a new ECU as the airbag alarm goes on and off intermittently.lights flash depending on the season and so does mileage. We have two batteries and kept on hook up.
I’m hoping it can get replaced under warranty
have a marquise 175 peugeot had the same problem in the end took it to peugeot garage diagnosed new ecu but new guidelines were to also fit an extra earth wire no trouble after for 3.5k miles no change from £590 have the old ecu ind electrician said it could have been repaired and reprogrammed for a lot less.happy christmas and a good new year to allSame on Peugeot Boxer or the Citroen, the unit on my Peugeot was a Fiat one.
Mine failed. Had it repaired. Fully charged battery and took for MOT. Went to use a month later and failed again. Crash Data said it worked when I got it back from them so would need to go back and pay again as they did their bit, true I supposehow long do they last when they come back from crash data after being reset ?
I thought they had cured the problem by then, obviously not.Morning, my 2019 Citroen Wildax was at the garage yesterday they say it needs a new ECU as the airbag alarm goes on and off intermittently.lights flash depending on the season and so does mileage. We have two batteries and kept on hook up.
