ACSI books arrived!

I found the app a little tardy. A lot of the fun for us was locating sites on the pocket book maps and comparing them - easily done as they are often on the same page.

Yes I like the books, a change from everything being online

Ooh I wonder if mine is one with an issue.

When you look under ‘Your Orders’ on the website what does it say the status of your order is? If it states ‘processing’ then you could well have the same issue.

When I check under ‘Your Subscriptions’, it states that I do not have any subscriptions (presumably because they haven’t processed my order).

Yes I like the books, a change from everything being online

The books I find too time consuming to follow as it’s all in codes whereas the App it is all in text so you can see exactly what facilities are there at a glance. The big bonus for me is the reviews which are personal entries and often include lots of information such as ease of access to public transport and location of supermarkets etc. Then to see it all in one place on a map is the icing on the cake, I don’t use the route finder but it is there too and it’s all on the App with no need for any internet connection

I haven’t got a subscription. Bought the books from C&MC and followed the code and link provided. But can’t even pay for it.

There are two main apps, the “ACSI” one lists all the sites they have inspected whether they are in the discount scheme or not and the “cc” camping card discount app that only shows the sites that are in the discount scheme, those that are in the books, this is the one that is £3.99 with the code on the card.

I've been waiting for the Camping and Caravanning Club to get the 2023 ACSI Camping Card discount guidebooks on sale and ordered this morning for £20 including UK postage, which I think is a couple of pounds or so less than elsewhere (apart from ACSI direct subscription). Fortunately, I wasn't in a desperate hurry for them.

Not sure if you need to be a C&CC member but we are, so that was fine.
