ACSI books arrived!

Ours arrived today as well, setting off for Spain soon so they should come in handy on the way back in March.

I always get a burst of excitement when they turn up. We always get our moneys worth out of them and I’m sure next year will be no different.
Ours arrived today as well but I could not find the card🤣 until Denise looked and saw the card had to be pressed out of the book🫣

We got ours about four or five days ago. Looking forward to using it now. 😎

Does anyone know if you can activate the App now or do we have to wait until January?

Thought you had to pay extra for the app?

We got ours through the post yesterday off to Spain in 3 weeks we usually get our money back just saving on paying for the dog 👍

I've just noticed my invoice was for 24.44 Euros. Thats for books, app and post. Shame the books must be included in this day and age when trying to consider the environment where one can.
More than I expected it to be for some reason.
I had it in my mind that it was around 19........

CampingCard ACSI - English edition €17.95
CampingCard ACSI app (campsites) €3.99
Shipping €3.50

Carolyn - seems the app is included in the price. Ours haven’t arrived yet, but this is the email we got. For some reason it’s €25.44, so €1 more than Wizz !

I have included the App, all on a subscription basis, for many years now but I think you could access the App now. The biggest problem I have found is as the year rolls over there seems to be problems which need all the maps having to be installed again. It’s got better over the years but never smooth. Luckily I am not away but it seems to all get sorted by mid January, if my memory serves me right 😜

This year they emailed the subscribers ages ago and said the price increase was going to be more than in the past due to costs.

They spoke about doing it on the App only, I think year before last, and asked for feedback from members. Obviously they have decided to continue, for now at least.

We got ours a few days ago and France passion sent an email with offer of 25 euros
Normally don't bother but planning on staying at lavender farm at lac de st croix and they always check and staying there for 2 nights is easily worth it

Still waiting for mine. The post delivery here is poor at the best of times, nothing for days then a batch arrives. We’ve not had any post at all for well over a week.

I’ve just paid for the books from Vicarious books and it was only £18.99 this year. I am happy without the app.

Ours came yesterday, handed over by a postie! Had to wait for them to defrost. Got an unused unopened 2022 set. Anyone daft enough to want them? I’d have to get them out of the recycling though

Having traveled to France and Spain for well over 20 years but we only got this once, in the year we had to stop going abroad due to caring duties

We had a Book and Card for 2022 just as a back up..... didn't use them for even one night...look at the saving we made..🤔🥳 and have had nearly 5 months in the van...Free Aires, pay Aires and Park4Night locations, our way to enjoy Freedom Motorhoming....

Hi
I did not preorder the Acsi book because I’m sailing Boxing Day this is before it was due to be sent out. Will Brittany ferries sell them on the ferry or as anybody got any ideas where I will be able to purchase one once on my travels.

Mine’s been posted but haven’t received it yet.

If you’re going to the Netherlands they are based there

No post. No book 🤷‍♂️. But I’m sure Santa will bring it for me 😊

Anyone noticed a very large percentage of the sites (well at least the Spanish ones) are now charging €23

It is a scheme which allows a saving to be made on your campsite fees.
But outside peak times.
Sites are listed with a range of prices which go from €18 to maybe €28 per night.
If you go abroad outside the peak season, they allow you to make considerable savings.

I should also add, that you don't necessarily need ACSI , there are so many aires etc. you can easily find other places to stay.

I‘m sure you are but I’d wager that you’d be even happier with the App. 😎

Do you know whether you the one app covers all of the countries of the EU with one subscription or do you need subscriptions for maps for each country?

Just the one. Make sure you get the correct App though; there’s one for all sites and one for the Discount Card sites.
