A photo of your van camping last night

Titanic museum experience tour tomorrow.🚢 FOTA island I played golf there. Lovely place. Train into Cork for 7€ return tomorrow as well. We should sleep well tomorrow night 🤔 This is the end of a month in West Atlantic way. Irish very friendly indeed. We’ve loved it and the west has been good to us as well. 👍☘️
Happy to hear your positive experiences here. You found some great places and caught a fair air wind with the weather as well! Check out the “historic pubs” if that’s your thing.. some very interesting small ones around the city centre. The university campus UCC is also very pretty, with some famous Harry Clarke stained glass in the Honan chapel on campus. The Oyster Tavern for some Michelin Star dining

Castillo de Peracense, near(ish) to Teruel, Spain.

Where are you? It’s nice to have the info as well as the photos, which look fantastic.

Incase he doesn’t reply, from the photo I thinks he’s here.

Our 3rd night at the Tavira Aire, we walked down the road across the salt pans to just opposite where the ferries to the Tavira island beach land, just before sunset, I paddled across to the middle of the channel to get this picture with my mobile..

we were there a few days ago, so exciting to see flamingos in the wild. Well we thought so 😂

The reason I don’t put where I am is because I don’t like people knowing where I am on that particular night. You don’t know who is watching for unsuspecting solo campers. A bit like giving out your home address on a public forum.

But it's meant to be last night. Don't post it until you have moved on.

I agree with what your saying but people only know you travel solo is if you tell them.

I had a woman giving me a telling off for leaving my dog all day in the van .

Rather amusing as there were others around watching with bemused looks.

I then , well after some time, explained that I travel solo and I don't have a dog only a sticker to warn of a dog in the van for personal safety

Her face was classic

It may be the person concerned faces some sort of threat we are not aware of, or perhaps had a nasty experience whilst travelling solo, so I am being cautious in my comments. If that is the case, the safest thing would be to avoid posting pictures that might identify location or drawing attention to being alone.

I always admire people who travel on their own and often wonder whether I would be prepared to do it, so this is in no way a criticism.

International Man of Mystery! 😀
Witness protection scheme?
Lord Lucan?
Who knows? 😀

Some of the locations do look great, so it would be good to know where. Otherwise, they're a bit pointless on this thread.
Nothing as exiting as any of that. I just don’t broadcast my position because I quite often leave my van for hours on end when I go out on my peddly bike exploring.
Oh, hello everyone ( including thieving scumbags ), I’m here and my van is empty!
I guess I just won’t bother putting pictures up anymore.

Just post 2 days after you move each time, it'll feel the same to all of us on here anyway 😎

I’d like to think there are no thieving scum bags on MHF. Never mind ones likely to see your picture and drive over to rob you.

I was concerned you were facing some sort of threat on your own. Frankly the issue you highlight is the same if a couple go out! I’ll leave it there..

Great view is that on an Aire?

Also on P4N. Out in the middle of nowhere, absolute silence here.

Under new (German) management, very friendly and helpful. New owner making some changes. Pitches small, facilities basic, but place to come for peace and quiet, and lovely walks.

What if I’m there for more than one night?
It’s also not great when others highlight where you are! (n)
You seem a bit paranoid, why do you think that people want to know where you are? The Government know exactly where you are all the time unless you switch off your phone. Is someone after you? What did you do? 😂
