Just outside Riga in Latvia, great car park just by the river, so peaceful, no wind. Only a few locals taking a stroll who all warmly greeted us but besides that we were by ourselves all night

Arrived Marvão Aire this afternoon and it wasn't until we got here we realised we had been here 2 years ago, then, there was no view as the cloud/rain was down and we didn't even go into the village, today we had a view and managed to get a walk around before the rain/cloud returned, which is where we are now again, hopefully clear again in the morning.

Now in Riga at a place called Riverside Camping - not too bad but quite pricey for ‘off season’. This evening a procession arrived of 4 VW Taurag’s a minibus and a huge beast, all Chinese registered. As you can see in the photo they are dead opposite me. There are 12 of them and very friendly. There is a second floor ‘sun salon’ with a 70” TV for karaoke . They told me they are also TikTok stars in China with over 10million subscribers!!

Cobh (Cork). This aire located overlooking the water is near where the cruise ships dock near the train station into Cork city. Complete with black waste disposal and water. 10€ per night it’s a bargain.

Titanic museum experience tour tomorrow. FOTA island I played golf there. Lovely place. Train into Cork for 7€ return tomorrow as well. We should sleep well tomorrow night This is the end of a month in West Atlantic way. Irish very friendly indeed. We’ve loved it and the west has been good to us as well.
