First one is crossing the Rhine into Worms 26th August so we can follow in the footsteps of Martin Luther of Reformation fame. Second is on 30th August from our van at Camping Sonneneck near Boppard south of Koblenz. And how about this wonderful tiling around a dormer window?

Our pitch marker 55 is in the image. Lots of Rhine traffic to watch, the one shown is a double freight barge, one being pushed as long as the pusher. Amazingly quiet mostly. Most of out time we visited a number of towns with amazing houses from 14th century onwards. We really love touring in Germany as they are so well organised for motorhomes. Try Michelstadt (wonderful buildings) NE of Heidelberg with a huge carpark and a dedicated Stellplatz part of it all free unless you wanted a EHU.

I'm home this bank holiday weekend, I know a lot of you are away. Please show us where you are by posting a pic of the outside taken from inside your van. Cheers (y)

We are on the Thurso site parked at the front on top of the cliffs. This morning we spent half an hour watching a pod of whales close to the shore Looking at the Orkney islands in the distance
