A photo of the outside from Inside

Parked up beside the estuary in Looe. Unfortunately someone is not having such a nice day ☹️

This is the view from our window today at Burnham Market Fallowfield site 5 mins walk from where we are about to leave for champagne tea which we won in a raffle a few months ago. It includes facial and back massage.
On talking to Chris the site owner today we inevitably discussed the B word and he pointed to the pill box and stated that was built to stop the Germans and therefore you can see by the Gun on to which way I voted.
A different way to explain I suppose and he has had three visitors by the police to remove but it’s still there after he explained other sites around also have tanks ect on show. Certainly a character.

Forgot to add, we are at Carro, not too far west of Marseille.

Don’t you hate it when folk post pictures of nice places and don’t tell us where they are? :)

Opps sorry we were at Portpatrick Scotland, a very picturesque harbour. :)7

The weather is being kind to us at Saint-Cirq-Lapopie. Staying in an overnight spot says 6euro but I suspect the won’t come round to collect the money. View from window and of the spot from a little way off

We were doing a 4 hour drive to La Rochelle and stopped for lunch at Les Eyzies de Tayac. It was just too nice a place not to stay tonight. Great Aire here CC1578
View from van. And we spotted some neanderthal man above the town. Striking resemblance to some modern politicians.

Just come up from Lienz in Austria, through the Felbertauern Tunnel and over the Gerlos Pass. Now we're parked up by a well off road lake just past the top. Silent and peaceful. A nice bonus was that at the toll booth there was a display of our weight. In full touring spec, 120 litres of water.....3520kg. Well pleased? Now getting stuck into 20kg of beer wine and food, just to be on the safe side!

Thanks val , it was fixed within 2 days , it was only a loose wire , so I was home one day after the wife ,
I hope all your travels are safe, it was stressful enough with 2 of us BUT it would have been a nightmare on my own , just where it broke down (bad corner on a hill ) , all’s well that ends well ?
