Just had my new boiler fitted and of course, after weeks of cold weather it's a scorcher and no need for heating! :LOL:

Beautiful down in Musselburgh today though, especially at high tide.
 
you've inspired me to visit!
Go for it, you will never regret it, unbelievably beautiful for hundreds of miles, days and days, week upon week of fabulous scenery.
Not as expensive as we thought either.
Diesel circa £1.50/litre
Campsites for less than £25/night
Lots of off grid camping spots, though this is a diminishing number.

There are about 30 lovely pitches along the river.
We were the only ones here. ( Jajce Bosnia and Herzegovina) There's electric, water, black waste every two or three places.

Why? They write travel books .They do lectures.
They promote themselves.

Burton Dassett Hills, wild camping the night before heading to the Newbury Show. Fantastic views even though it was overcast and a bit misty. Not sure if we might get 'the knock' as the parking ticket expires at 2
