On a tiny farm in deepest Romania

What an eclectic collection of sheep breeds, plus a goat. Shame about the weather but you are in my favourite country for touring and wildcamping. I am green with envy as I can't see me being able to return to Romania.

It’s still winter here (NZ) but a lovely day to go to the beach at Kaiteriteri, near the top of the South Island. We wanted to give the van a run before going away next week and check what’s broken while it’s been in winter hibernation. So far, the satellite dish has blown a fuse and won’t go up, but there’s still time to find more problems.

If your using What3Words, then the road down to the parking is at cease.drainer.exhale and the parking alongside the lake is at tanks.defected.scarcer

There are a couple of places on the road down to the parking that will give your van a good shaking, so take it easy and keep an eye out for then.
