Lovely photo but sorry to hear about your Mum. I hope she makes a quick recovery.

Lovely to see the hotels on Weymouth seafront. As a 7 year old I went on holiday to Weymouth with my grandparents, aunt and uncle, plus 12-month old nephew. I was told that if I got lost I should look for the only hotel that had ivy growing up the walls. I think it was call The Haven, but it’s 60 years ago now so I can be forgiven for not remembering.

Out birding along South Tyne at Eals this afternoon, a stunningly beautiful area for any funsters visiting check out the Nook farm shop stopover on Search for Sites. I digress, for those interested in botany currently there is a magnificent display of Melancholy Thistles on the roadside verges on the South side of the bridge toward Knarsdale. (They don’t look sad to me🤪🤪🤪) These are a scarce NorthernEngland/Scottish highland species and are currently showing at their best. https://www.wildlifetrusts.org/wildlife-explorer/wildflowers/melancholy-thistle

Montreuil sur mer today, a wild flower growing out the wall and some photos of the wall that’s suffered a bit, maybe from the wet weather, it’s a right mess. They have fenced off a large part of the wall walk.

It's been like that since at least the beginning of this year. It's going to be a huge job to rebuild it again.

Did notice it when we were here in April but then I can’t remember if we went that side.
The Agricultural workshop above the Aire has moved but nothing is happening with the site yet.

Currently sat in a massive traffic jam on the A75 (France) northbound on the really steep bit. There’s been an accident further up, hope everyone is ok. But Keith Richards is in the queue as well, driving a Ford Fiesta. Who would have thought it.
