Dog walk this afternoon at Caerhays beach

Woke up to bright sunshine and blue skies above Potes this morning - a welcome change to the near zero overnight temperatures and grey skies we’ve been experiencing for the past few days.

We took the back door scenic route towards tonight’s final Spanish stopover at the Elephant Park, Cabárceno, up and over the pass near the village of Linares. Road was like a staircase but the ZF 9 speed auto made it effortless both up and down the other side - switching between PWR and ECO when required but no need to engage the manual mode at all.

Lovely place to stop the night on route to Yorkshire. What a gorgeous location, lovely pub and great grub too

Is it being a FLT if you sup ale (Doom Bar 🍺) and nosh on bangers and mash with onion gravy and park up for the night.

You're just down the road from us! It is lovely there, enjoy.

Had a lovely peaceful night and heading north today. By the way, Huntingdon and surrounding roads are as rubbish as ours in Sevenoaks, talk about potholes, it must rattle your peggies every time you head out.

I’ll be heading back to the pub in 2 weeks, great place to park for the night, great beer and grub and friendly people, I can see why you go there.

Left the overnight stop at the Elephant Park early so we could do a bit of shopping and had late morning and a picnic lunch on Mataleñas beach, from where we could see the Pont Aven arriving into Santander - in the background second photo. Now in the queue to board.

Seems a calm sea, safe travels.

Calima!!!!
The wind normally blows from N.W. but today its from S.W. that brings hot weather (30c now) and dust storm from Africa.
Was sunny and blue skies this morning. Everything outside is covered in dust/sand.
Just been to a mates and couldn't see the volcanoes.

Anyone we know at Robins Hood Bay East Yorkshire. Not sure how the missed the signs at the top about no motor vehicles, or read the area as it hardly looks like a through road, but there we go. Wasn’t even a hire vehicle, but think they got a few choice words from the locals, which is good, or they’d have driven up the dead end road that gets really narrow at the end and would have been a mare to reverse down.

Little wonder we get a bad press, even if they couldn’t help it, if that’s an excuse 🤦🏼‍♂️

Tonight view as a FLT, overlooking Robins Hood Bay. Honesty box for parking so as a FLT, I’ll get my knife and see what I can scrounge out from it. Knew I should have got one of those cordless angle grinders 🙄😇😁

Put £5 in, does that mean I’m not a FLT anymore 🤷🏼‍♂️

Looks like his solar panel is held on with those plastic brackets too and they can’t be serious motorhomers as there’s room for more panels up there……..after they’ve cleaned it of course 😁
