Well, bit of a roller coaster here, 20 month old granddaughter just got out of hospital on Thursday after having a febrile seizure brought on by tonsilitis. Kept her apart from her three week old sister, but she ended up in A&E last night with a temperature too and they're keeping her in for two nights. Blood tests are ok and intravenous antibiotics appear to be working, so fingers crossed but it seems Santa knew where she was and a couple of presents appeared around 4am

Have to say it was a great day, exceptional food, atmosphere, noise, band, dancing, in fact the whole family thing.

Diffent colours, Alcohol, Non Alcohol, and Bubbly included, so the server is instructed to serve when asked. Therefore different rates.
It's bollocks really as one can easily hand over booze to one and other.
Do you think it looks like a hospital?

I can't understand how someone on here said they didn't like Dubai because the beach was surrounded by massive hotels.............again Bolloc@s. There are literally miles and miles and miles of beaches up and down the coast. If you want quiet you don't have go far, if you want busy no prob. Of course there are hotels on the beach, people like that sort of thing.
This one is Kite Beach, just as the tourists were arriving in their hotel buses.

Oh and BTW, it's lovely soft sand.

We had Xmas dinner today as daughter didn't arrive until late yesterday day.

Management did us proud.
First time in a few years we've had some family around our table.

It could be our last

2024 could be a pivotal year ad we try and decide whether to move back up north.
We are both very much indecisive


Anyway today was lovely. Now looking forward to a week in MHome in Somerset.
