As it happens, my venture tmrw is go look at the campsites on this island for our future visits

Bicton Park today in some welcome sunshine watching grandson competing in the arena eventing for his school’s equestrian team.

On his usual mount he finished 3rd and 1st in two different height classes, and has qualified in both for the Nationals at Hickstead next year.

He then switched to the new dobbin that he’s getting to know and bringing on for the future, and still managed a 7th in the next class up.

Probably the angle the photo was taken at. He’s a bit bigger at 15.2hh compared to her at 14.1hh, but ‘chunkier’ (technical horsey term apparently!).

I found an amazing climb from South of Gran Canaria up into the hills.
Glad I wasn't in a camper.
