From a box in the loft. Taken on my Olympus OM10. The first-gen Casio digital camera I also took with me took poor photos and the batteries lasted long enough to take two or three pictures!

Taken back in May 1999 on the way to Castle Moosham for the Wasserbüffel Rally. Had already been over the Grossglockner and the Sella Group of passes in the Dolomites. This is the border with Slovenia.

It's a shame that the club no longer has this rally. I went in 1993 and 1999 on the GT750A.

And this is going the other way. This one is taken on the Casio QV10A. This is probably the clearest picture it ever took. I recently resurrected it and it is terrible!

I've had mine since 1984. It's now on its second crank rebuild after 78000 miles. It probably would have survived on the 1987 exchange crank from Robinson's had I not left it at the back of the garage to die for many years.... ;)

If I rode one now, I'd probably hate it after all my litre Jap bikes.

I'll keep my memories happy 😊

Probably. When I rode it for the first time after it had been sorted I couldn't believe just how hard work it is. Since I bought it I have had loads of bikes from GSXR1100 and 750's, a Cavalcade 1400, a couple of GSX1100E, and 1000 Katana through singles like the XT600E and DR800SL, to a BMW GS1150, a Rocket III and now the V-Strom. I need to ride it more though. Maybe in the summer but the Moho does tend to take up too many midweeks and weekends away!

Absolutely glorious day on a nearly empty Filey beach. Bet it will be totally different this weekend, especially as the weather forecast is good. Thankfully we won’t be there.

Really no idea but I suspect so, even though there was an Armstrong Siddeley badge on the bonnet.

He’s a hero for many Funsters (us included). So …..

This is Tim Martin’s (Mr ‘Spoons’) house in Topsham …

I was struck by (although large) how unassuming it was.

It is in a gorgeous part of the country though - I’d take Topsham over Padstow or St Ives any day!
