A photo of the day thread

£25 for CAMC members, think it is £30 for non members. There’s a smaller field for non members. No shower blocks but has grey and black waste disposal, rubbish bins and one toilet. Electric hookup and water tap at each pitch

Also, the ‘strange’ statues are still in the market place……. ;)

So about a week ago I asked SWMBO if I should pick up her lounger from the allotment as we’ll be going away soon. Mines already in the van.

Nope says SWMBO, I won’t need it or use it, so we came away with 2 of this collapsible camping chairs, the ones that caused all the stir when Wombles listed them in a thread.

Fast forward to a very sunny day at East Wittering and SWMBO says, why don’t you get your lounger out and rest. Great idea, says I, but need to shift some full water jerrycans and I’ll then get to it. So, I move the said items and get access to my comfy lounger, which is still in its plastic bag and never been used.

Puts back the items into the locker, walks around the jollybus to find this, blooming cheek of it and she’s snoring!!

Typical woman, plus 15*c and she’s still in her Guernsey jumper 🥵

Good job she has no access to Fun 🙄😃😇

Is that near Whitchurch, I'm sure that is where we have to phone the campsite Sunny Oak to give them time to open gate.
It is on the A49 towards Whitchurch or the other way Tarporley.
Don't know of of the Sunny Oak connection.

Nice campsite with access to canal and pub The Willeymoore
Ah yes know it well. Been in the pub a few times (tea and butty) but never stayed on the site. Nice spot by the lock. I pass it regulary on my bike rides to Ma Baker's them onwards.

On holiday in Madeira with the whole family, so a few photos.

Then walked on to the motor Museum which is a private collection. Not a huge collection but worth a look if you like old motorbikes and cars and memorabilia.
