A photo of the day thread

Now on the C&CC Site at Keswick, on the shores of Derwentwater which is looking very moody today.
A flood warning is in place and we have been warned to keep our mobile phones switched on in case an evacuation is required.

A bit of a Hymer gathering at Les Roches L’Eveque, from left us (B584) a French couple with a Hymer each (hers B564 and his B544) and an old Renault based Hymer, oh and a English Burstner.

Further to post#25,505 it happened. We had to leave the C&CC Site in Keswick when it was evacuated due to a flood risk.

Having said that the Wardens were excellent, keeping us informed as they got reports from the Environment Agency. When they asked us to evacuate they gave us the choice of re-imbursement or a voucher according to our choice and were extremely helpful all the way through.

Moved back to my house in Worcestershire after 25+ years working and living away. There was a patch of grass between my house and garage that was just a dead area that was never used for anything. A couple of weeks work and I now have a nice hard standing with electric hook up! (y)

We've arrived at a nice little Sosta. Which is a two minute ride on the scooter to the centre of Assisi. What a stunning place.

So many photo opportunities. Some door and ancient press porn!

Walked from the lovely wine village of Gigondas up to the viewpoint at the top of the Rocher du Midi to view the steep terraced vineyards and the Dentelles de Montmirail rock formations above.
