A photo of the day thread

Sorry to say folks, but autumn has arrived in my garden.

That’s cool.
We stopped at a place in NZ nicknamed The Bra Fence in Bradrona, with thousands of bras hanging up.

Apparently it started off as a local gesture to support Breast cancer charities. The local authorities objected and wanted the initial meagre offering removed but the locals dug in and it became news. After a week or so it attracted so much support that it just became overwhelming and the authority caved in.

No puns intended… much.

Opposite the Cardrona Hotel between Wanaka and Queenstown?

Picked motorhome up with a working fridge on gas and went to the top of trundles hill. (Goodwood)
So that's Hayling and Pompey one way (the blurry one) and Goodwood the other 3 furlongs from the finish I reckon

At the small chapel, so many of various faiths go each day.. especially since the war in Ukrraine.. and people leave flowers, religious symbols, child's drawing, etc., and I had to smile today at one person's offering... :)

Yet another cancelled NHS appointment.... after I had arrived at the hospital.... so went with daughter for lunch to an Artsy Cafe.. Food was lovely.. The tree in the middle quirky and the Abominable Snowman sat next to us.. Well, must admit he was a little strange. :)

I don't have a lot of info on this pic my son sent me yesterday, other than the aircraft is 111 years old and the lake is Coniston. Would have loved to have seen it !

Nearly right!

It’s a replica of the original ‘Waterbird’ (modern engine aside). Read the story here.

Wanted to stop at one of the places on Park4Night, but car park closed while forestry work was being undertaken, so found a lovely spot by the edge of the forest for the night and a quiet road to boot. Theres an Arboretum here as well, so we’ll pop there first thing before heading off again across Norfolk tomorrow 👍🏻
