Abundance of Sloes on the bushes this year. Just 2 minutes down the Lane from Wirral CAMC site.
Have always wanted a try at making Sloe gin so thats what I’m doing when we get home.

That would be what happened on la Loire today then. Completely dry in places between Angers and Nantes !!

Yes, unless the weather goes downhill. Hoping to get out and about on the bikes. I don’t do rain much , frizzes the hair lol

Other than keeping an eye on the sugar ‘consumption’ (I prefer to add it over time rather than all at the beginning, put a vanilla stick in it for added smoothness.

This island has some amazing scenery. Don't often go here as very touristy. But guests wanted to see it.

Whilst I agree with others that the north of Lake Garda is the prettiest. We're always drawn to the Bougainvillea at Sirmione. I can definitely say the view was much better than the meal.
