Stopped overnight at Silverbridge on way to Ullapool. Carpark next to Black Water Falls. Toilets open 24hrs.

Morning coffee at Aultguish Inn. You can stopover night here too. They also have rooms and serve meals. Short walk to Glascarnoch Dam.

Ullapool. Parking for 32 motorhomes. Day parking charges but can stay overnight for £10. Ferry service.

Also a campsite on the shores of Loch Broom

Slowly making our way to Lochinver. Lots of stopping places. What I have found is that it is handy to have some cash. The Inn that we stopped off for coffee had a minimum card payment of £15 and a charity shop in Ullapool was cash only.

buntyb I remember that charity shop in Ullapool. I bought a 1970s Denby Arabesque coffee set for about £5 and carted it around the UK for six months before shipping it to NZ. It cost me a lot more than £5 to ship it.

Wow I know it may not look like much to those who don’t go to these shows but the work that has gone in to prepping all that is pretty incredible , I really admire the effort involved, it often is a labour of love.

Le croisic was our day out on the bikes.
Possibly the best view from a PMU.
The green thing was croute de the and tasted like a Mr Kipling slice.
The mini golf was cleverly set up to look like the salt beds with salt heaps
