It’s carnival here in Zurich and there’s a lot of car bling on show, but this one stood out for me. I know it’s a Ferrari but if there’s a car nut among us please do tell what model it is as I’d quite like one as a toad.

Or a 330 GTO, whichever it is, it's a lot of money.

Think the 330 has 3 vents on the bonnet and large front spots, 250 has the small round ones like the car in the picture.
Cannot see it being genuine as only 36 250s built and I cannot see someone parking a £50m+ car on the road
Think it’s a replica but still probably worth £1m

Today at Caerfai Bay, St. David’s, Wales. First trip out since COVID. No longer infectious but totally knackered. Walking down to the bay and back exhausted us both. Still, a couple of weeks idling around Wales should improve that.

Disappointing day as due to weather we couldn't go to open air swimming pool.

Instead, we had a day stone painting. Becoming confused because despite THREE coats of varnish, zilch. Just realised, (eyesight bad awaiting cataract op), that I have sprayed them 3 times with windscreen de-icer!!!!

A lot of the 250 GTO’s were built using the Datsun 240z or early 260z. Very few “good” replicas out there.

A quick 50 km cycle up and down the Meuse and then we dropped into Bergues and caught another festival there with huge dancing statues to brass bands

I think Buntyb is on the Isle of Skye it's connected to mainland Scotland by a bridge I believe. It's about 1600 kms sq so not huge.

It’s surprising just how excited I got when I found these 2 blocks of wood and straight into the belly locker for emergency use.

Walked into St. David’s today. Named “the smallest city in the U.K.” it has a population of only about 1700 people but claims it’s status as a city due to its Cathedral.

and finally for those into “door porn” the entrance to a Bishop’s Tomb. I’m not sure if it was to stop anyone getting or to prevent him getting out.

These signposts are new, and they describe the well worn footpath along Southampton Water. Two things come to mind:
1. They don't give any indication of distances.
2. I hope the tide doesn't come up this high as the post is about 20 feet above the HW mark!
