Lucky shot full zoom on my phone of this griffon vulture so not that clear.
Taken from Castillo de Monfrague, and far too hot for walking especially when I agreed to continue onto the river walk. Bob.

Another busy site, this time Gibraltar Farm Silverside

to be honest this a lovely site with a number of touring caravans on long term pitches and mix of caravans and Motorhomes pitched in various hardstandings.. Very friendly and professional wardens ( note an independent site) and spotless toilet and shower block.

Pleasantly surprised by this flotilla of Geese and Goslings sailing by.!!

Canada geese have black necks. These look like Grey Lag Geese to me - but I await correction from those with better geese id skills than me.

We are touring what is called The Winterless North of the North Island of NZ and these photos were taken at our overnight stop at Whangarei Heads (£5). It includes the free use of a kayak. Although the park has lovely views there’s a huge oil terminal and refinery across the water which our Government, in its infinite wisdom, has decided to close.… now of all times!
Photos include fungus, Swann Plant, beach beneath our parking spot and an NZ kingfisher.

If it's the one I think it is. They used to wack you with a heavy parking fine and let you out in the morning (probably still do?)

Every time i see a Aire or Stellplaza or similar in a another country on here i make a note in my blue book, search Mr Google Maps and log in the book.
