Monday. Lunch by the sea at Bowness on Solway, the western end of Hadrians Wall Walk. An interesting signpost...

Today. Lunch near Berrier on the northern edge of the Lakes.

Looking southwest down Mosedale towards Threlkeld with Blencathra (Saddleback) on the right.

West towards Mungrisdale..

They may only be common Sparrows but I enjoy watching them peck at the apple kebabs I have put in the lawn, and it distracts them from eating my Persimmons that are ripening on the tree.

Found this see through church in Belgium Doorkijkkerk just south of Borgloon in Belgium. Fascinating 10 minute walk round. Parking in big layby and looks like a summer shop for fruit juices ice creams. (Free)

Waterloo monument was 17 euros each (not) so a selfie from behind the gates and Thieu boat lift
