A truly 'cosy' entrance to this CS made me wince a bit as the vegetation introduced itself to the van roof 😳. Fortunately no damage done. View attachment 535888
All was forgotten later though when we discovered a hostelry with 6 real ales and only £3.60 a pint ! 🤫 I may stay indefinitely 😆View attachment 535889
Interesting to see the bit roped off, good job the owner took quite a few of the low hanging branches off when we were there in July!

I wouldn’t have been keen if the growth had been any lower ! 😳

The nuclear power station is a monstrous blot on the landscape. I knew nothing about it so your photos prompted me to do some research. Opened in the 60s, decommissioned in 1991 and it’s going to take 100 years to clear and clean the site.
