I wouldn’t have been keen if the growth had been any lower !

The nuclear power station is a monstrous blot on the landscape. I knew nothing about it so your photos prompted me to do some research. Opened in the 60s, decommissioned in 1991 and it’s going to take 100 years to clear and clean the site.

Took a drive to the pretty village of Talmont sur Gironde. A little touristique, but very pleasant! There's a nice aire there too.
