We got the 100yr date down to about 50 yrs by working very hard from Selafield Sites. I'm glad to say, now retired and glowing quietly.The nuclear power station is a monstrous blot on the landscape. I knew nothing about it so your photos prompted me to do some research. Opened in the 60s, decommissioned in 1991 and it’s going to take 100 years to clear and clean the site.
