The nuclear power station is a monstrous blot on the landscape. I knew nothing about it so your photos prompted me to do some research. Opened in the 60s, decommissioned in 1991 and it’s going to take 100 years to clear and clean the site.

We got the 100yr date down to about 50 yrs by working very hard from Selafield Sites. I'm glad to say, now retired and glowing quietly.

They say it always rains in Wales, but not today. Elan Valley at it's best. A good days riding about 30mls and 3000ft climbing, plus being stalked by Red Kites.

Seaburn Camp is gifted land when the army left it after ww1. Every time the council look at it, there are plenty of locals who get upset. My playground a long time ago.
