When I was station in Germany our garrison motorsport club held a driving skills day. It was great fun and raised a lot of money for our club funds.
The only part that stumped quite a few people was car hight. You had to set a barrier to the right hight to get youre car under. I was a a acussed of cheating because I had an MG Midget at the time. Thinking of motorhomes that might be a good test before you take you’re motorhome on the road.
A good car to tow behind, who needs a smart car

Wow, XxanthxX covers some ground. Yesterday‘s photo was Milford-on-Sea and today they’re in Looe. It would take me at least a week to see the sights between those two places, but then I move slowly these days!
I really enjoy seeing everyone’s photos, but can I request that the places are identified.

Drum Estate, Danderhall just South of Edinburgh, CCC THS till 1st September, those funsters who attended Puddleducks (Helen) rally last year will recognise it. Great location nice and quiet some wonderful walks, bus stop into Edinburgh 200 yards away along with shops, eateries and pubs, bliss. Fully Covid compliment so feels very safe.

£15 pn includes EHU, Elsan etc and, normally showers, toilets, potwash area and information room.

Farm sits alongside the course of Hadrians Wall and there is a spur footpath to join the long distance Wall foopath.

The footpath runs in a, straight line from bottom left to top right of screenshot.

There is no physical remains of the wall to be seen but the attendant earthworks are still visible..

Site is also a short walk from Carlisle Airport. There are no commercial flights but light aircraft often buzz about.
There is an aircraft museum on the airport.

Nice quiet site, countryside views to the Lake District fells in the distance. About 7 miles from Jct 44 of the M6.
Site owner is a motorhomer himself.

Our coffee stop this morning is of the shifting sands of the Solway Firth, the boundary between Scotland and England.
Taken from nr Port Carlisle.
A few hundred yards further on is the village of Bowness on Solway, the official end of Hadrians Wall.

Looking NW over towards Dornock and Annan.
