The site has alot of flooding so it wasn't possible to get to see the para memorial that holds a special place in my heart - had to make do with looking at this beautiful glass tile of it instead. Love the addition of the plane, parachutes & poppies.

Fuerteventura they always run over to you for titbits they’ll even rest a paw on your hand whilst eating ?they were unlucky yesterday as we didn’t have anything for them.
But we’ve just come back from the shop with some sultanas and we’re about to have a walk to the coastal path so will try and get a couple of snaps?

Apparently only introduced in 1965 they have since thrived. Must be all the food they get from visitors! :) Barbary Ground Squirrels, native of western Sahara and places nearby.
