Yesterday (Christmas Day) wild camping at Lake Coleridge, South Island, New Zealand. Overcast and similar to Lake Grassmere, I think.

Salmon mousse with salad for a starter (excuse the bread and butter!!) followed by traditional Christmas lunch. Amazing what you can do in a van with a bit of pre planning, a microwave, a slow cooker and a Remoska! Didn’t use the hob and don’t have an oven in my PVC. Photo doesn’t show my bread sauce as I forgot about it until I had nearly finished.
Couldn’t manage my pud!!

A Xmas present saw us today taking a helicopter ride around HK island.

Aberdeen harbour, with the famous Jumbo floating restaurant.

Repulse and Deep water Bay's with the sailing club moorings on the left

Returning to Kowloon, with the Star ferry terminal, clock tower and the Peninsula Hotel in the middle with the helipads on the roof.

Today’s paddle was a bit too windy, grey and rough for the usual group, so I went out by myself again ?
It was very grey, so I’ve tittivated the colours, but the kayak and waves are very real.
