Miss our daffodils at home we leave before they flower and return after they've died off

Today's job in the garden.

Walking Laika the wonder dog at 6 this morning and we came across this outside the Tate. Lumps of melting ice.
It's been brought over from Greenland from the broken ice cap there. It's making the point how the ice cap is melting and how quickly. I should think it will be fully melted over the next few days . It's not that cold here in londinium. View attachment 271476

Not going to be much of the ice cap left if every country does this....

Surly they could of put the point across without the unnecessary expense and carbon footprint to get it here....

I think folk have been trying to get the point across for a while now.

Went back at 11am this morning to see the ice in the day light.

Top photo , the tower in the background is residential which has just been completed on Blackfriars bridge. Across the road from it was the Daily Express building which was recently demolished( I think it was only 20 years old)

I would have thought the ice would be better left where it should be. Surely bringing it here means there is even less where it is meant to be.
