A photo of the day thread

We have cycled many of the miradors around Javea quite regularly but today we went to
Ambola beach we used to go there well over 20 years ago when the girls were young. (y)
We sat there having a coffee thinking about the time I dropped a football on the way down and it had burst by the time it hit the bottom . Obviously hanging on to the children. We had elf and safety in the 80 's didnt we.
Not the best weather on a clear day beyond the lighthouse is Ibiza.
Fond memories and a nice cycle. (y) Bob

Love Charlestown, spent time with our dear friends there they live just up the road, next time we go we will no doubt bump into @PenelopePitstop Marie and Rex they are always there, last time me and Rex drank over 4lts of wine  be nice to catch up.
Carpet of leaves from one very old oak tree.View attachment 268290

This picture reminds me of us waiting for All the leaves to fall from our 2 oak and 5 ash trees before heading off to Spain for winter, because it was a nightmare clearing up when we got back in May.

Seeing your all your beer Andy reminds me of my dear father in law he gave me a beer barrel and the kits, Janie made it for me, ;) trouble was I would drink one in the larder and bring the 2nd out, making 40 pints never went far so she stopped making it.
:crying: :drink::drink: Happy days. (y) Bob.

Attack of the greedy goldfinches. How the goldfinches visiting our garden can almost empty a bird feeder full of sunflower hearts in a few hours. :)

Hope they go next door to do their business from t'other end(y).
John

The house just behind the pink one to the right i renovated many years ago it used to be a fish store a long long time ago brings back memories & the house you can see from the harbour across to Blackhead i used to do the maintanence on it & i swear it was haunted
That house has come up for sale a couple of times since we moved to Cornwall.

No but it is near silvermines beach. Only known to locals. You need a boat to get to it

I lived in Mevagissey for 12 years, I think the house name is Ropehawn or something like that. I used to regularly fish in the bay and remember the house being renovated around 1984-86 with all building materials being taken across by boat from Meva and/or Fowey as there is no vehicular access down the cliff from Trenarren.
