Blue skies and sunshine all day at the local ploughing match.

Travelling to Manchester today and followed this camper complete with own plane !
Now I don’t normally stop strangers in lay-bys and ask if i can have a photo but when he pulled in i just had too.
The nice man was travelling from Great Yarmouth to Huddersfield where an engineer was going to put him in a new engine.
He’s travelled in his motorhome with plane and sounded like he’s seen some amazing places.

The Shard first thing this morning from the end of my street. Laika the wonderdog was happy for me to stop for the photo, so she could sniff her favourite lamp post for a little longer.
The building with the blue light to the right is part of a complex called Empire Square (housing) Which in the past was a huge storage site for Pickfords removals.

I used to fish near that lighthouse and got soaked on many an occasion.
