A photo of the day thread

Another Dorkingite here! Was brought up in the village of Peaslake, then rented a flat over the dental surgery in Howard Road, opposite Serck Sevices. Then moved to Brockham with g/f of the moment until I bought a house in Reigate. Moved out of the rat race in 1986 to deepest Dorset, now outside Salisbury.

Ponte de Piedada, Lagos, Portugal - stunning!

Did you go in your motorhome and if so how long did it take please?
Hi Joy, No we didn't come in the MH - we flew as we're only here for 4 days as a birthay treat for me. We had planned to come in March when we were in Spain but the weather in Portugal was so bad that we gave up on the idea and went back to the UK via France instead, so this little trip is to make up for missing out then.

Ralph and Isaac are hard at work repairing a stone wall in our lovely British countryside ( betwix Pateley Bridge and Harrogate)

Look at this hedge they came across. ( it's even bigger than you think , look at above pic )
Do you think it’s supposed to look like boobies intentionally??
Or is it our dirty minds

Giving credance to the fact that most women have boobies of unequal size. :)

There was an old lady of Devizes
Whose boobs were of different sizes,
The one that was small
Was no use at all
But the other was huge and won prizes.

Very clever to trim them like that, Mrs CC had a couple in the garden she use to keep nice and round.
When I was building the extension I ran over one of them with the forklift then backed over the other one! She wasn’t happy:(

That’s funny, it’s an old lady that owns this house. The farmer who Ralph n Isaac were repairing the wall for, said it’s known as the booby hedge !

We really loved Pateley Bridge and surrounding area. Miss it all.
We must admit enjoyed the boot hedge.
Thanks
